The black, purist stone “Nero assoluto leather“ clearly sets the tone in this design and massively opposes the bright, airy apartment. A stark contrast and a real storage miracle.

This scene is an absolute must in any spy film: It doesn’t matter whether it’s the good guy or the bad guy, at some point something magically appears or disappears at the touch of a button – and everyday rooms convert into weapons depots, listening stations or an escape tunnel. It is not immediately clear whether Who Cares?! Design were inspired by James Bond or “The Man in Black“ for the “Project: Alf“, what is clear, however, is that they resolved a well-known problem with combined kitchen and living rooms and created a space saver from the African stone“Nero assoluto leather“. While the dirty pots, pans and plates usually disappear behind the closed kitchen doors, in an eat-in kitchen, the chaos is ever-present.
