All-round cladding, all-round functionality, all-round Mascarello Gold.

A kitchen island like something out of “Arabian Nights“. The impressive granite Mascarello Gold has probably not made its debut in many kitchens. But the first kitchen is always something special. Especially for a stonemason like Manfred Breitweiser, his own kitchen was an experiment and a prototype, in many respects. The first kitchen island that was entirely clad in stone and accommodates all drawers, cupboards and storage areas around it. There is no dead space here, just a lot of functionality.
Now – after over 15 years – is stands without a single sign of ageing.
“And I am still happy, every single day, when I see the kitchen in the morning. The sun rises and, as it strokes across the stone, it radiates everywhere.“, says stonemason Manfred Breitwieser.

Every stone is unique – but some even more so. The lively structure of the yellow granite from Brazil is a true work of art of nature. Its acid-resistant property makes it the perfect choice for kitchen worktops – or also for robust, resistant surfaces, both indoors and outdoors.

“The use of stone as a material in the kitchen has long since surpassed the simple worktop. Stone is on trend because more and more people are investing in the kitchen as a living area, spending more time there and also, simply, cooking more at home. The ingredients of a kitchen should have the same properties as those in the saucepan: a sustainable, authentic and high quality. Furthermore, stone always offers extreme longevity and resistance. Whoever wants all this and the added bonus of great variety in design, colour and surface structure, finds stone to be the logical choice of material for their kitchen.“
