Under the management of one of the most exclusive Parisian interior design studios, a dream home has become a reality in the luxury apartment “Piard“. One of the most important highlights: The natural stones personally selected from Breitwieser Stone World by designer Oscar Lucien.

The pivotal point of the refined design programme at Maison Numéro 20, the studio founded by Lucien in the city centre of Paris, is the extravagant kitchen island finished in Patagoniagranite. The unparalleled look of the natural stone stands out in contrast to the otherwise restrained surfaces, and shines in all its complexity. With its crystal veins in black, and ranging from golden yellow to light beige, the stone, which has the wild, original nature of Patagonia to thank for its name, seems to tell the eternal story of time.

The extroverted design of the kitchen island correlates to the lakeside landscape in front on the floor-to-ceiling windows and emphasises the natural beauty of the material.

A free-standing chimney made of polished Travertin Silver completes the design concept and forms an atmospheric counterpoint to the formal power of the kitchen island. Sensitive and courageous at the same time, Oscar Lucien has created a unique living experience here, where the focus is on the aesthetic, almost sculptural effect of the exquisite natural stones.
