Wine, music and art...In the Park Hotel Vitznau on Lake Lucerne in Switzerland, every suite is unique; a separate, luxurious living world of its own. Wine, music and art were the main inspirations for the designs of the 47 rooms, and really – from Bordeaux via the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra to Schiller; the themes of the designs could not be more different to each other. But there is one thing that all the suites have in common: Exclusivity and, in every theme, the luxurious natural stone from Breitwieser.

The Irish Green marble unfolds its interplay of delicate streaks and coarse inclusions in the most diverse shades of green in the Norge Fund junior suite. This suite is dedicated to Nordic design and the polished marble seems to radiate from within between delicate linen and muted colours. Although actually only one separating wall between the living area and the sleeping area, the stone is the real eye-catcher in this room. A completely different stone experience, on the other hand, reveals itself a little way down the corridor in the Schumpeterresidence. Frappocchino marble clads the walls on both sides of the round bathtub. In its rich brown tone, streaked with thin white veins, the stone is, in itself, a beautiful view from the tub. But its dark, comfortingly warm colouring also focusses the eye on the bright blue of the lake outside the window. In the Château d’Yquem residence, on the other hand, the Roma Imperiale granite looks like a modern work of art: On a white background with dynamic brown lines. Here, it dresses the room and shines in competition with the chandelier. And the outstanding 3D milling from Breitwieser sets the stage in Vitznau – in the Fokus residence, guests bathe amidst a wavy symmetry of finely cut Limestone White.

But even away from the so diversely designed suites, one stumbles across the stonework from Breitwieser again and again. At the pool, on the patio or in the wellness spa, the calm, generously laid and sandblasted Lasa Bianco Ortles visually unites the oasis of well-being into one unit. It is not only its restraint that particularly distinguishes this stone. Here, in Vitznau, in the middle of the Swiss mountains and with a view across Lake Lucerne, it can prove its elegant appearance, as well as its resistant properties, every day.

Modern living room with a green marble wall (Irish Green), grey sofa and minimalist furnishings in the Norge Fund junior suite.
This suite is dedicated to Nordic design tranquillity, and between the soft linen and muted colors, the polished marble seems to radiate out of itself. Actually just a dividing wall between the living and sleeping areas, the Irish Green marble is the real eye-catcher in this room.
Luxurious bathroom with round freestanding bathtub, large windows with lake view, and Frappocchino marble walls.
In its rich brown, streaked with thin white veins, the Frappocchino marble is in itself a beautiful view from the bath. However, its dark, pleasantly warm coloring also focuses the eye on the bright blue of the lake outside the window.
3D milling in der Wand
And even Breitwieser's outstanding 3D millings are showcased in Vitznau - in the Focus residence, for example, you bathe between a wave symmetry of finely polished Limestone White.
Elegant bathroom with freestanding wooden bathtub and Calacatta Gold marble walls that create a majestic atmosphere.
The Calacatta Gold marble, with its precious golden veins, lends the room a majestic and sublime atmosphere. The freestanding wooden bathtub contrasts with this, creating a luxurious and inviting oasis of relaxation together with the gleaming marble walls.
Magnificent crystal chandelier in front of a wall of Calacatta Gold marble, creating a majestic play of light.
Opulent luxury and natural elegance: the magnificent crystal chandelier emphasizes the sublime beauty of the Calacatta Gold marble. A majestic play of light.
