Under strict requirements of the Federal Monuments' Office, historical stucco ceilings were restored, facades were renovated with marsh lime and modern facilities such as a new castle café and toilet facilities were built. In addition, the baroque fountains and gardens were returned to their original state. This extensive renovation made it possible to make the castle accessible to the public again without compromising the baroque flair.

Another special feature of the project was the restoration of the baroque wells. Neptune and Najaden fountains, the small cascades and the high-jet fountain of the castle complex bring water again today and also transport the visitors of the castle complex back to old times.

The area of Schloss Hof extends over more than 70 hectares in the east of Lower Austria.

The magnificent ensemble consisting of the two-story castle, the garden and the manor is of particular art and cultural-historical importance.
