In the historical locations within the city limits, the...The Stadt Krems winery has existed since 1452 and is one of the oldest wineries in the world. In the historical locations within the city limits, the varieties Grüner Veltliner and Riesling are produced. In the summer of 2021, the winery received a tasting room, which also honours this traditional history through the use of Illussion Grey Marble and Golden Viper Granite.

A back wall made of Illusion Grey marble stretches monumentally through the room and continues behind the glazed doors. Just like the history of the winery, it tells of tradition and times of enduring quality. The room embodies this through the selection of high-quality and exquisite materials. Straight shapes characterise the interior, in the spotlight of a fully equipped kitchen from Mayr and Glatzl. On the back wall, the stone lies on a block of elegant, dark wood - made in the in-house carpentry Mayry. In combination with shimmering metal surfaces, the materials enter into a noble and expressive symbiosis. The free-standing block invites you to gather around it, to experience the wines and their different taste experiences and to immerse yourself in the history of the winery.
